Purpose of project :

To increase the life satisfaction index from 0,31 in 2015 to 0,50 in 2020, by increasing the use of bicycles in Lüleburgaz, which is determined as the 2017 cycling year.

 Activities and Outputs:

1. Preparatory Activity
2. Bicycle Taxi Purchase Activity: Bicycle taxis, which is eco-friendly, can carry 1-3 people according to its capacity. Bicycle taxi pilot application will be started in the project for contributing to decrease of carbon release in the region. Three bicycle taxis will be purchased for pilot application. Three people will be employed for riding the bicycle taxis and their salaries will be paid from the project budget.
3. Bicycle Training Activity: It is planned that 160 people will be given bicycle training in the project in order to encourage individuals of all ages to ride bicycles for transportation in the city by eliminating the perception given above. A 4-month bicycle training will be arranged in the district.
4. Carbon Footprint Measurements Activity: A research company which gives appropriate offer according to the market research will be contracted for service procurement for making research on determination of the carbon release in the residential areas in Hurriyet Mahallesi, analysing the data and reporting the obtained information.
